Ubuntu in VPS
We offer Ubuntu with all our Linux VPS and based on what requirements your web apps have, you can get the 32-bit or the 64-bit version of the OS with only a few clicks throughout the order process. If you order your server with no website hosting Control Panel, the sole piece of software that will be set up on top of Ubuntu is the Apache web server software, which means that you'll be able to use a console to access the website hosting server and to install a software environment of your choice. When you obtain your server with our Hepsia web hosting Control Panel, you'll have a web interface with which you can manage almost everything just as easily as you manage an ordinary shared account and all of the important MySQL, FTP and e-mail server software are pre-installed, yet the root access to the server is limited. If you don't have much experience, or if you do not like to waste time on VPS administration procedures, you will be able to take full advantage of the Managed Services upgrade, which includes regular Ubuntu Operating System upgrades.
Ubuntu in Dedicated Hosting
You'll be able to obtain Ubuntu with each of our dedicated server packages, because we provide 32-bit and 64-bit versions of this OS. Thus, you can select the more appropriate of them, depending on the type of applications that you want to set up and run and on the system requirements they have regarding the Operating System. You will have root-level access to the server, which will give you full control of the software environment. We will set up just the Apache web server software, which means that you are able to add everything else you will need, even when it's not related directly to Internet sites, such as a VOIP server, for instance. You will be able to manage everything using a console, but if you would like, you may also set up a website hosting Control Panel, provided that it's compatible with Ubuntu. When you order our optional Managed Services bundle, we'll keep your OS up-to-date on a weekly basis and will ensure that you have the most up-to-date software packages for a stable and protected server environment.
